Text, content and wording.
I, Mr D M Carling, the owner of the K'ai Men Gallery, suffer from dyslexia, although every effort is made to ensure the content of this site are correct, neither myself or the K'ai Men Gallery will be held responsible for errors or misunderstandings that arise from any text, content or wording in this site.

Purchasing reservations.
Deposit's sent, in order to hold a piece until it can be collected, will be deemed as none returnable. Please make sure you intend to purchase the piece before you send in any deposit's.

Purchase reservations will be held for a period of usually up to one month and up to a maximum of two months in special cases, after which the item will be re-entered for sale and any deposit's will be held against storage and holding costs.

Please make sure you intend to purchase the piece before you send in any deposit's as purchase deposit's can not be returned under any circumstances.

Solo Exhibitions
All work entered into solo exhibitions must be delivered at least 24 hours before the exhibition is due to open.
All work must be removed from the gallery within 24 hours of the end of the exhibition.
No offensive, pornographic or racial work will be exhibited.
The gallery has the right to refuse to hang / show any work without notice or explanation.

Sales made during option 1 should be dealt with by the artist or a representative.
No money can be taken for your sales by the gallery unless by prior arrangement.
Sales can be dealt with by the gallery (by special arrangement) but if they are the gallery will take 25% commission from the sale, as insurance against bounced cheques, fraud etc and as payment for time and costs.

Sales made during option 2 are dealt with by the gallery, the gallery will guarantee the sale against bounced cheques, fraud etc.

Payment to the artist for sales taken during solo exhibitions will be made within 10 working days of the end of the exhibition.

Insurance
Works entered into the solo exhibitions are only insured within the gallery if handled, hung, removed and packaged by the gallery or its representatives.
Insurance cover does not include transportation to or from the gallery.
Insurance may not cover the full asking price of a piece, please call the gallery for full details on individual works.
