David was born in 1930 in Portsmouth, and following a very active working life, finally had the time to paint on his retirement. He paints chiefly in Watercolour, Acrylic and Mixed Media choosing a variety of subjects including, landscapes, seascapes and some abstracts. He has shown with the Royal Institute at the Mall Galleries in London and also exhibits in his local area.
 

He has also exhibited at Highcliffe Castle, Southampton City art gallery, Salisbury, Portsmouth and Chichester Art Exhibitions. David has also undertaken the occasional commission.
